Equal with God-Every knee shall bow.

The Humbled and Exalted Christ  Philippians 2  

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it [b]robbery to be equal with God, 7 but [c]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Good Morning. Here we see Jesus, the Son being equal with God and taking on the form of a servant! He traded His eternal form which is the third part of a three-part God for the form of a human being for the purpose of saving mankind from his sin! This humble servant was obedient to God the Father to the point of death as He was nailed to a cross. BUT death could not hold Him in the tomb because in Jesus there is Life and life does not reside in a tomb! He came out of that tomb in 3 days! AND furthermore, God the Father has highly exalted Jesus and given Him a name above EVERY name that at the name of Jesus EVERY knee will BOW and every tongue will CONFESS that Jesus is LORD to the glory of GOD the FATHER! Those on the earth, those under the earth and those in heaven will bow to Jesus! AMEN.
