The Whole Armor of God Ephesians 6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [b]wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Good Morning. As most of you know, who read these emails that we as Christians are in a war. That war truly is between good and evil, right and wrong, love and hate etc. You can bet if you are trying to do God’s work you will have a battle with this invisible enemy of Christ! So God is telling us in His word here how to combat this invisible enemy and that is to put on God’s armor of protection. We are not battling flesh and blood, the real enemy hides behind flesh and blood and influences us through principalities, powers and rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness. Sounds like evil is present everywhere and we have a greater power in us to not only battle against this evil but to completely defeat this enemy if we draw near to Jesus Christ our Savior by putting on this armor!
