15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your [f]understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,…..
Good Morning. Yesterday we learned that a person must hear the word of God and then trust in the one who shed His blood for sinners, that being Jesus! After a person trusts in God and receives salvation they are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Today we want to express the importance of knowing God and what our calling is. The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ wants to give His children the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowledge of Him. God wants to open our eyes of understanding so that we know our calling and also what God has waiting for us in heaven. Knowing our calling and doing it brings joy and purpose and love for God and people into our lives. And also the reality of God’s presence brings peace to a Christian, and makes us desire more of Jesus in our lives. Jeremiah 29:1,14 puts it like this: “13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord,…..” God bless.
